Swiss Tournament System

The first stage consists of five rounds with 16 teams participating. Winning three matches ensures advancement to the playoffs, while losing three matches results in elimination. Winners face winners, and losers face losers. Check the detailed structure below:
Swiss System Breakdown
Swiss Round 1
- 16 teams are paired; no eliminations.
Swiss Round 2
- 8 winning teams and 8 losing teams are paired again and play; all advance to Round 3.
Swiss Round 3
- 4 teams with a 2-0 record are paired; winners qualify for playoffs, losers proceed to Round 4.
- 4 teams with a 0-2 record, winners proceed to Round 4; losers are eliminated.
- 8 teams with a 1-1 record play, and all proceed to Round 4.
