TERA — Explore Arborea
TERA is a fantasy MMORPG with real-time combat, open-world locations and dungeons designed for group play. Create a character, choose a race and class, explore Arborea, collect equipment and find your place in a team.
Akeron is preparing a seasonal server based on classic TERA, patch 33. The familiar game is joined by new locations, dungeons and bosses, mounts, pets, costumes and in-game events. Ninja will be available at launch.
Combat That Puts You in Control
TERA uses a non-target combat system: aim your attacks, watch your opponent and dodge incoming blows. Positioning, distance and skill timing affect the outcome of a fight. To defeat a powerful boss, learn its attacks and choose the right moment to respond.
Classes have different weapons, combat rhythms and skills. Tanks hold an enemy’s attention, damage dealers fight at close or long range, and healers help the party survive dangerous moments. Choose a playstyle that suits you and develop it through practice.
Dungeons, Bosses and PvP
Group dungeons reward knowledge of mechanics and coordinated play. Form a party, overcome challenges, improve your equipment and prepare for the next encounter. A guild or regular party can help you find companions for adventures and in-game events.
For players who enjoy competition, Akeron offers PvP options including 1v1 arenas. Live queue counts show how many players are waiting, with a role breakdown for dungeon queues.
The built-in Akeron Meter, Skill Prediction and other quality-of-life mods make the game more convenient and operate within the project’s rules. Almost all mods are available only inside dungeons.
Seasonal Akeron — Opening This Winter
The season is currently planned to last around three months, with its duration open to adjustment based on community feedback. Main cities, the dungeon lineup, class balance, arenas and events will change between seasons.
The final rules for moving between seasons and retaining progress will be published separately. Applications for the closed beta are open now. Participants are selected manually from the applications.
